Membership

Thank you so much for your interest in a membership with the Superior Curling Club! Our leagues typically run from early October through to the end of March. Your membership dues entitle you to play in as many leagues as you'd like. If you don't have your own curling shoes and/or broom, we have slip-on sliders and house brooms available. All you need to bring is a clean pair of indoor athletic shoes, and wear clothing that's loose enough to allow you some room to move around.

If you missed your chance to join our club for this season and would like to give curling a try, you're in luck! Click the "Learn to Curl!" link above and fill out the form. We'll get in touch with you to arrange a time for you to meet with one of our members to get you out on the ice to give it a try. It really is a lot of fun, a great way to stay active and meet some great new people, and sure makes those long Twin Ports winters go by a whole lot faster.

Below is a table of membership rates for the current season. (Subject to change in the future) To reduce the cost of membership dues, we also have a program that we call "Dollars for Doers", which allows members to reduce their dues for the following season by volunteering to help around the club. Volunteer opportunities include activities such as

  • ice maintenance (no experience necessary)
  • kitchen help during bonspiels
  • setup at the beginning of the season
  • cleanup at the end of the season
...and others. For every 10 hours logged volunteering, your dues for the following season will be reduced by $25.
