SCC DOLLARS FOR DOERS PROGRAM
Members are able to donate their time towards regular, scheduled activities such as:
- Ice-in/Club Opening
- Bonspiel Help – setup, kitchen, ice crew, planning, cleanup, etc.
- League Help – League Commissioners, Jr. Curling Adult Helper
- Club maintenance - repairs, updates and improvements
- Open House or Club Rentals – being available for on-ice instruction, opening/closing the club, collecting rental fees, etc.
Members will also able to get credit for hours in other ways:
- Advertising – Each new sign advertiser (in-ice or wall) is worth 5 volunteer hours. Information on how to recruit advertisers (cost, contacts, etc.) will be made available to all members.
- New Members – bring in a new full-time member. The member must be a person who has not curled at Superior Curling Club within the last three years or more. The new member must put your name down on their sign-up sheet as the person who brought them into the club.
- We’re open to other ideas you may have … contact any Board Member to see if your idea would qualify!
Simply record your hours on the sign-up sheet posted at the club and you will receive a discount on your dues for the next curling season.
For every 4 volunteer hours you can earn $25 towards your next year’s dues. You cannot earn ‘extra’, and hours cannot be carried over to the next season.
