In 2025, the Superior Curling Club formed a compensation committee with the following goals.
- Develop a comprehensive overview of the various roles required to run the club.
- Recognize people's contribuions by setting equitable compensation for each role based on agreed upon criteria.
- Level of responsibility
- Experience/skills required
- Estimated time required
- Whether or not the work can be completed remotely
- The need for any special license or certificate
- Provide better transparency for significant club expenditures.
- Attract more "volunteers" to help run the club.
As always, people are not required to accept payment for their work, but should not feel guilty about accepting the pay. In addition, compensation from any of these positions is completely separate from any dollars for doers that are earned throughout the year.

Accounting Clerk - $3600 per year
Assistant League Ice Technician - $200 per year plus no late games
Bar Manager* - $1,000 per year
Bar Tender (Bonspiels/Club Rentals) - Dollars for Doers OR Tips
Board Member at Large - $16.67 per meeting attended
Bonspiel Chair - $40 per team entered in bonspiel, divided between all chairs as they see fit. Triples bonspiel would be $30 per team and doubles bonspiel would be $20 per team
Bonspiel Ice Lead - $100 per half day
Club Council and WSCA Rep* - $8 per meeting attended
Clubhouse Cleaner - $25 per hour
Communications Coordinator* - $600 per year
County Liason** - $25 per meeting attended
Email Manager** - $2560 per year
Head Ice Technician - $5,000 per year plus bonspiel and league ice technician pay
Junior Curling Coordinator - $1280 per year
Kitchen Manager* - $160 per year
League Commissioner - $160 per year
League Ice Technician - $300 per year plus no late games
Learn to Curl Instructor (Certified) - $12 per hour
Maintenance Technician* - $16 per hour
Membership Coordinator - $300 per year
Merchandise Sales Coordinator - 10% of Sales
President - Dues plus $400 per year
Registration Coordinator** - $800 per year
Rental Coordinator** - $240 per year
Secretary - $360 per year
Social Media Coordinator - $300 per year
Sponsorship Coordinator - Free dues
Treasurer - $30 per meeting with a financial report
Vice-President - $25 per meeting attended
Volunteer Coordinator* - $200 per year
Web Master* - $1600 per year
